We are excited to announce that DFI has created a new logo and color scheme to help advance our desire to be the best foundry in the Midwest! We realized that our current marketing efforts needed to change and in order to “brand” ourselves with our community and customers, It was important to identify a logo that was a reflection of who we are. In addition, we have a new facebook page that went live recently that will be beneficial to both our customers and employees! Over the next few months, we will incorporate new clothing items using the new logo and colors as well as new business cards, letterhead, and other marketing materials which will continue to promote us both as a great place to work and a great foundry!
Decatur Foundry is proud to announce that it will be the host foundry for the Ductile Iron Society (DIS) fall tour in 2014. The event includes committee meetings on 10/29, a technical session on 10/30, and concludes with a tour of Decatur Foundry on 10/31. We will host an estimated 100-150 top technical and executive level employees in the industry. We are excited about the opportunity to display our employees and facility.
Todd Ray, DFI’s Human Resources Director, accepted the “New Campaign of the Year” award at the annual United Way dinner on March 20th. This award belongs to the entire organization, as everyone stepped up in terms of financial contributions, volunteer efforts and even bake sales!
